About me
I'm a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
Alongside my counselling practice, I have spent several years supporting people affected by serious and long-term health conditions.

I have experience providing emotional support to individuals and families affected by brain tumours and autoimmune conditions through my work with The Brain Tumour Charity and The Wren Project.
I have also gained counselling experience through my placement with NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people affected by cancer, as well as their relatives and carers.
These experiences have given me a deep appreciation of the emotional impact that illness, uncertainty, grief, loss and life-changing diagnoses can have - not only on the person directly affected, but also on those around them.
While much of my experience has involved supporting people facing health-related challenges, I welcome clients bringing a wide range of concerns and life experiences. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, bereavement, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions or simply feel that something isn't quite as you'd like it to be, counselling can provide a space to explore these experiences together.
Choosing a counsellor is a personal decision, and it's important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose to work with. That's why I offer a free 15 minute introductory conversation, giving us an opportunity to meet, answer any questions you may have, and decide together whether working together feels like the right fit.
